Welcome to dylanwickens.com. The site is still being completed, but for now the show dates are being updated regularly. I'm currently working in 3 bands on a regular basis : Dylan Wickens & The 9's, Johnny Max, and Soulstack.

Dylan Wickens & The 9's is a trio that I had on the back burner for a long time. I took about a year contemplating the material the band would be playing and how we would approach the material.   The 9's are now out there playing regularly.   Look for a debut CD to be released very early in 2009.

Johnny Max has multiple band configurations including The Johnny Max Band (JUNO and multiple Maple Blues Awards nominee), Johnny Max & The Heart Attacks, and Johnny Max & His So Called Friends. I play guitar in any of these band configurations whenever I can. These guys are one of the premiere entertainment value groups working in Canada....a party every time, with Johnny Max as MC. So not only is JM a great singer, but a true showman who leaves nobody in the audience untouched by his humour and cool spirit.

Soulstack sees me teamed up with sensational vocalist and guitarist Jonathan Knight. Soulstack is an award winning roots and soul band from Toronto, Canada. The band was formed in 2003 and released it's debut CD in 2005 to wide acclaim within the Canadian blues community and abroad. More info on Soulstack here : www.soulstack.com
